Bio

Andrés Duque is a Spanish filmmaker born in Venezuela. His work is classified as nonfiction with a strong essayistic quality. His debut film, IvanZ, is a portrait of cult filmmaker Ivan Zulueta. He has since created works about exceptional figures such as composer Oleg Karavaichuk, which have received numerous awards and recognition at film festivals around the world (Punto de Vista, Cinéma du Réel, Dokufest, D'A, Unicorn Awards, Goya Awards, Premi Ciutat de Barcelona) and have been screened in various cultural centres.
