“Why are you making films?” In his documentary La Súbstancia, shot in China, Lluís Galter reflects on his career and asks himself this question while filming it. Bio
His debut, Caracremada (2010), premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival and at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, and his second film, the documentary La substància (2016), was part of the Visions du Réel and Seville festivals. Galter studied audiovisual communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and has worked in both film and television production.
