Bio

Sylvie Gadmer se formó en la Sorbona Nouvelle y comenzó su carrera en el cine en 1983, trabajando como asistente de edición en la serie de televisión francesa "With Rose and Revolver". A lo largo de su trayectoria, ganó experiencia en diversos roles, como asistente de dirección y en diseño de sonido. En 1992, participó como montadora en la película Les "Histoires d'amour finissent mal en général" de Anne Fontaine, que obtuvo el premio Jean Vigo en Cannes. En 1996, participó en un proyecto cinematográfico en Atelier Varan en Camboya, lo que despertó su interés por la realización de documentales. En 2004, cofundó Ateliers Varan Vietnam junto a André Van In.
